Great place for happy hour Monday through Friday from 2-6pm! They have nice outdoor seating -perfect for when it's a clear, warm day. I recommend getting seated early and having a couple drinks and appetizers off the happy hour menu before ordering your entrees. We really enjoyed our pasta dishes. The linguine vongole dish was generous with the clams and the pasta was very fresh and al dente. Service was excellent and friendly.

Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon and were seated immediately. Although a bit busy, there was some indoor and outdoor seating available. We got their herbed onion bread, americano, and Caesar salad. My boyfriend loved the americano and bread. I thought the bread and Caesar salad were okay. Service was very good, but it can feel a bit crowded.

I was looking for an Italian restaurant in the Marina but wasn't necessarily craving pasta. That's when I came across Delarosa's pizza menu. Without looking at any pictures, I decided the menu looked promising and the prices were decent. And, fortunately there was plenty of seating on a Sunday afternoon. Our waiter was attentive and offered his own recommendations. We went with his pizza rec, the Cappriciosa, and it really didn't disappoint. The medley of mushrooms went very well with the hearty cheese and prosciutto (which was more ham-like in this case). I was having a hard time finding the artichokes on my pizza, though. I think were only about four pieces on the entire pizza. The pizza dough wasn't too thick or too thin; it was just right, with a little chew and a nicely browned crust. I was also happy with the prosciutto panini. I know a panini isn't hard to make but Delarosa offers a very classic, comforting take. It also comes with an arugula salad to help curb the natural greases from prosciutto and cheese. Unfortunately, the potato chips were a miss; the texture resembled chips that had been out for a couple of hours-cold and slightly stale.

Delarosa has been my go to for dinner outings with friends recently! Stopped by last night to split a few appetizers and 2 mains. The last time I was here I came for happy hour - which is so far my favorite happy hour on Chestnut! The ambience and lighting inside here really sets the mood and makes the meal super intimate which I love - although I would like to sit outside next time I'm here once it starts to warm up again. The music here is always so fun! Theres something for everyone and if music isn't your thing - theres always some kind of sports event on the tv by the bar! In terms of food - you 100% cannot go wrong with their pizzas. We got the burrata pizza tonight and I think I had a dream about it... Their brussel sprouts were also good - a little salty from the capers but still delicious. The star of the show for us last night was the onion bread! It was so crispy and the perfect appetizer to hold us over before getting the brown butter and sage butternut squash ravioli!

We walked in on a Friday night at 6pm. Bummer that we missed the 4-6 happy hour, but alas we had no problem getting an end spot inside for the two of us! He had an IPA. I had the butterfly cocktail. We ordered the burrata and arancini to share. I ordered the beet salad and he had the chicken skewer. The arancini and salad cake right away. Our server warned him that the chicken would take 15 minutes. Good warning and no problem. The arancini was so good and not too fried or greasy. The burrata was creamy and not filling with little hazelnuts on drizzled on top. It was nice that it was already in the toasts so it wasn't messy. My salad was super. I got the small and it was still very filling. He loved the chicken skewer because it was surrounded with pieces of bacon and beans. Service was great without feeling rushed. We will come back and try to hit up the happy hour specials.

pretty solid italian spot - people say it's better than the downtown location. i came on a friday night around 7 pm with 2 other people and there was no wait. we were seated at one of the long tables inside which made for an interesting dining experience - the seating made it feel like we were eating in a cafeteria although the ambiance was nicer than that. we ordered the burrata bruschetta, pappardelle, and fennel sausage + margherita pizzas. i was a big fan of the burrata bruschetta - i love both burrata and bruschetta so the combination was heavenly. they brought out the pappardelle before the pizza which was a little surprising to me as i had hoped to be able to eat the pasta and pizza together. while i've heard that the pizza is generally better than the pasta at delarosa, i really nenjoyed the pappardelle. i've had better margherita pizza at other places but the food was still pretty good. it ended up being a bit too much for 3 people and we took 2 slices home. overall, i would come here again if i were in the marina but i wouldn't go out of my way to go here.

Dela Rosa is a true gem! The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing Sunday afternoon. We sat at the bar and were lucky enough to have Peter take care of us. His service was absolutely phenomenal. Hands down the best customer service I've ever experienced. Now, let's talk about the meatballs. They are an absolute must-try! Perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and something I'll definitely be coming back for. If you haven't been to Dela Rosa yet, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't regret it, especially if Peter is working and those amazing meatballs are on the menu! #DelaRosaSF #MustTryMeatballs #BestServiceEver #SundayVibes

This is my 3rd time here, the last couple of times we had pizza and chicken skewers and beef skewers with a bottle of wine. The food itself always tasty here. Came back here for the 3rd, and got my friend hooked onto this place. I got the chicken spring salad and my friend got the beets salad. She said her salad was really good! And my chicken salad was very flavorful, the dressing was equally spread evenly and the salad was nicely marinate with the crunch factor. The chicken skewers are so flavorful and paired well with the salad! The service was great, they came to us right away with the menu and give us update on when the salad is ready. My friend like this place, even ordered the dessert to go and enjoy it later. Will definitely make this one of my go to places to have lunch/ dinner!
